Games Awards Announced at Bafta

Batman: Arkham Asylum has been chosen as the best game of 2010 beating the pre-award favorite Uncharted 2: Among Thieves at the presentation ceremony shown live last night on BBC1.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (Bafta) awards recognise "artistic, creative and technical innovation in video games". Bafta has been giving out awards to the games industry since 1998, although it only became a separate event in 2004.
