Google Loses Nexus One Trademark

Well this can’t be good…Google’s trademark application for "Nexus One" was just denied by the USPTO. Whoopsie. Oh well, no biggy, Google can just buy the company and then it will own the trademark.

Google's bid for a trademark on its Nexus One smartphone has been denied by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, which concluded last week that the name is too similar to a trademark held by Portland-based Integra Telecom.
