Gates Foundation Kicking Out The Cash

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation gave out 81 $100,000.00 grants to support "innovative" and "unconventional" global health research. Unfortunately my repeated requests for a $100k grant to "study the impact my ass has on this chair" was once again denied.

The five-year health research grants are designed to encourage scientists to pursue bold ideas that could lead to breakthroughs, focusing on ways to prevent and treat infectious diseases, such as HIV, malaria, tuberculosis, pneumonia and diarrheal diseases.
