Pedestrian Safety Enhancement Act

With the world’s problems solved, U.S. Senators have now turned to important issues like the Pedestrian Safety Enhancement Act. Who cares about losing your job or your home, the real "silent killer" is electric cars…in crosswalks. The added bonus is that tax dollars will be used to conduct this "study."

The Pedestrian Safety Enhancement Act of 2009 requires the Secretary of Transportation to conduct a study on how to protect the blind and others from being injured or killed by vehicles using hybrid, electric, and other silent engine technologies.
