Music Sharing Trial Continues in Minnesota
The first (of hopefully many) music sharing trial is in full swing. The testimony is underway and, from the looks of things so far, things are just starting to get good. Hopefully this inspires more people to stand up to the RIAA and refuse those ridiculous settlements.
Six of the nation's largest record companies have sued Jammie Thomas, 30, accusing her of sharing 1,702 songs online in violation of the companies' copyrights. The record companies claim they found the songs on a Kazaa file-sharing account they later linked to Thomas.
