Gaming On Movie-Style Screens?
How about a gaming center that allows you to game it up on screens that range from 17 inches to 13 feet? Would you pay to play at a gaming center that offered huge screen gaming? Listen to this one:
Then there's the "half-pipe," which features a screen that is 20 feet wide and 12 feet high. Another creation is a sphere, which is 20 feet in diameter and eventually will offer a 360-degree wraparound gaming effect. The gamer sits inside the sphere on a robot that rumbles, banks, and spins out, providing many of the same effects as a flight simulator.
BBC To Sell MP3s?
Get this, the publicly funded BBC wants to start selling MP3s like the big names in the tech industry are currently doing. What is up with that? Would you guys here in the states buy music from PBS?
The publicly-funded broadcaster is testing software called MyBBCPlayer to let users download its TV and radio programing, and plans to use its powerful presence to take its place among Internet media giants like Google.
