ASUS A8R32 MVP Deluxe

Anyone looking for a new socket 939 motherboard ought to check out this review of the ASUS A8R32 MVP Deluxe. Apparently the board had issues that were finally resolved by a BIOS update and the Lost Circuits crew say they can now “highly recommend” this board to anyone interested in a CrossFire platform.

After struggling with the A8R32 MVP Deluxe and some uncomprehensive benchmark results for two BIOS revisions, the 404 BIOS finally solves most paradoxes and delivers the performance that is expected from a board in this class. Unfortunately, we had to resort to the RADEON X850PEs for the Crossfire testing but for an evaluation of the motherboard itself, this configuration is still perfectly adequate.
