Enermax Liberty Eco 620W Power Supply

Enermax has been one of our favorite computer Power Supply Unit builders for many years. It has constantly driven quality products into the market place. Today we kick the tires on the Liberty to celebrate the upcoming 4th of July.

Introduction

Enermax Technology Corporation is a company that is well known in the world of power supplies and general computing alike. Founded in 1990 Enermax has made a name for itself by providing solid performing power supplies, among other computer components, and accessories. Enermax’ current lines of power supplies encompass a wide range of products targeted at various market segments including the Revolution85+, Liberty Eco, Infiniti, Galaxy EVO, MODU82+, and PRO82+ series.

In addition to being a retail presence with its Enermax brand power supplies, Enermax Technology Corporation appears to be one of the few real OEM designers of power supplies. Their power supplies however, have only rarely shown up under other labels including "Grow Up Japan" and "Sapphire." For the most part, Enermax appears to be a factory to retail presence with its own discreet lines of power supplies including today’s Liberty Eco 620W (ELT620AWT-ECO).

Freely Saving the Environment, One PC at a Time

Today we are once again looking at a power supply from the longtime high end brand Enermax. However, today we are going to be looking at a slightly less than top of the line product as Enermax has recently launched their new Liberty Eco line of power supplies that targets a bit different crowd than the most recent unit we have seen, the Enermax Revolution 85+ 1050w, targeted. With this change of gears it will be interesting to see if Enermax can make the shift smoothly, or if they end up grinding the gears a bit.
