Our first evaluation focused on real-world gameplay experiences on a range of video cards in FarCry 2. The conclusion in that evaluation was that this game plays well, very well and we were able to maximize in-game settings. Our second evaluation showed us why, the fact that DX10 performed much better than DX9 providing noticeably faster framerates in FarCry 2. This evaluation will now show you what those image quality differences look like between DX9 and DX10. We will answer at the end of this evaluation for you if you should be running in DX9 or DX10 for this game and what the differences are in image quality.

Right up front we will tell you we found NO image quality differences between the AMD GPU and the NVIDIA GPU in FarCry 2 using the latest drivers.
