What’s With the Custom Box?

NVIDIA was named Forbes Magazine’s 2007 “Company of the Year” in its January 2008 issue. The company’s CEO and founder, Jen-Hsun Huang, appears on the cover of Forbes wielding a weapon and battling foes in a simulated scene from a video game.

BFG Technologies recently teamed up with NVIDIA to create a limited run of only ten of these boxes (and donated the graphics cards!), featuring the image of Jen-Hsun Huang taken by Rick Dahms, to honor NVIDIA’s selection by Forbes Magazine.

Each of these graphics cards has been autographed by both Huang and Scott Herkelman, President of BFG Technologies. Packaged in this limited-edition box, only 10 of these examples (custom box and signed card) exist in the world.

How can YOU get one?

First and foremost, you can get one through this link that is "exclusive" to [H] readers. For the [H]Bundle drawing, you will need to register for BFGTech's newsletter at the link above. BFGTech will randomly draw three names from all who register and stay registered, between April 22 and May 31, 2008. BFGTech and HardOCP will announce the winners Wed. June 4, 2008. 1. These cards have been sold! The winning bids for each will be MATCHED BY NVIDIA, and all proceeds will benefit the “Child’s Play” charity, helping children in over 40 hospitals across the nation recover via video games.

2. Take the CLUB SLI scavenger hunt challenge open to Club SLI Members only* – answer every question correctly, and you’ll be entered into the drawing for one of these cards. This promotion is only open to qualifying members who had joined CLUB SLI prior to April 22nd - qualifying members were sent an email with details on how to enter the contest.
