CPUs & Real-World Gameplay Scaling
What do different video cards and CPUs mean to gamers in World of Warcraft, F.E.A.R., Battlefield 2, and Call of Duty 2? We played all the games with 6 different CPUs and 4 different video cards to find out the difference in real-world gameplay.
Gameplay Test Data
Before we get started here, lets point out that most of the following sets of graphs will not interest most of you. We would suggest you skip ahead to the Gameplay Summary in order to get the observations that we have pulled together from the 90 graphs that follow. We did however want to include our raw data for those of that wanted to dig deeper and see exactly what we saw in our gameplay testing.
